Good for daily low/light duty workload
Pro Tip: Get a good USB NIC, you will need one if you want wired connectivityThis laptop is good for light duty work. I will not say it’s great, but it gets the job done. You need to make sure you get this on sale, and not on retail price of $329. At current price of $219, I am giving this 4 stars. At original price, it will be at most, 2 stars. I am inclined to give it 3 stars, I will give it a few more weeks and see how I feel. I will update this as I see fit.For $219, this is a good device. The quality is acceptable, the performance is decent, the feature is lacking, the keyboard is…”not fun to use”. For this price, it should come with a wired NIC and better keyboard. The display is decent at Full HD, more than enough RAM of 12GB (DDR4 only, not DDR5), decent 512GB SSD (not nvme), with Camera and a Windows License. The Intel N100 CPU is good for its intended purpose.This is not a gaming PC, but it worked well with productivity apps such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite of Applications, and other web-based application. This will be good for students, as well as for use with light remote work tasks.Note: Product is not completely free, subject to paying tax!Rating Process:5 stars- Great item, not necessarily perfect, the good overcame what I dislike. Grab this one for sure!4 stars- Meets advertised description, have at least one imperfection, or not my “preference”. No bloat makes me happy
I give this laptop 5 stars for good reasons. Let me preface this; I’ve been using Microsoft since the command prompt. Built my own desktops for gaming and then graphic design since the Creative Soundblaster days when I was ripping CDs to MP3 with the lame.dll. if you know, YOU KNOW.There’s little to no bloat on this laptop. It’s a clean, fresh install. First thing I do with a new laptop is “clean” it. I remove the nonsense and THEN I start doing updates. There was the Xbox nonsense I wanted to remove, done. For others who may be more strict, you’re not gonna spend more than 5 min removing stuff. There’s not much left to remove.Nice big screen. Full size keyboard. Power button is like my Helios 300, which I’ve had for years now, keyboard button at the top right. I never liked it but I got used to it. Snappy response even after I moved files from an old laptop.This laptop is for business productivity only so there’s no heavy benchmarks to run for me. It’s a good price and does exactly what I need it to do – function.I’m happy.
