Why is the video quality limited?
These smart glasses currently feature an 8-megapixel camera. Please use them in well-lit environments; it’s sufficient for daily use. Please avoid comparing this to the pixel count of current smartphones, which range from 50 to 200 megapixels.
How do I set up the glasses for the first time?
The first time you use the smart glasses, please turn on the power, turn on your phone’s Bluetooth, find the Bluetooth name of the smart glasses, connect them, then open the “HeyCyan” app and follow the instructions.
Why isn’t the AI Assistant working?
To use the AI voice assistant, activate it with the English wake phrase: “Hey Cyan.” Once activated, you can ask questions in your preferred language.
Note: Each wake phrase triggers a single question. To ask another question, say “Hey Cyan” again.
How many languages are supported for real-time translation, and how do I switch between them?
Real-time translation currently supports 144 languages. To switch languages:
Open the “AI Translate” feature in the HeyCyan app.
Select your desired translation mode.
Use the dropdown menus to choose the source and target languages.

Phone won’t connect to glasses
Glasses feel light and decently comfortable. I struggled to put the lenses in the frame , that may be a ME problem though. I charged for 8 hours and still won’t blue tooth with my phone. I can hear it trying to take pictures and recording and hear it when I turn it on. So something is wrong I dunno what. Immediately sending it back. I can’t tell you if it’s any good or not. I wanted to do a side by side with the Meta ray ban gen 1 but I won’t need to I suppose.

Took hours to get the lenses in, a waste
Need to make it easier to slot the lenses into the frame. But great after that.

To many issues
I’m returning them, the battery dies fast, it only records 3 minutes videos, I did not know that and lost an important event thinking I was recording and it just cut off after 3 minutes.Hard to change the lenses to the dark ones. The quality is decent but to many issues.

Needs improvement
Unfortunately I may have to return them. There are many things I like about the glasses but it’s falling short on the main reason I wanted ai glasses. The assistant is not consistent and most of my questions go unanswered. I may provide the time after having to ask multiple times and the delay is longgggg. The frame is cute and takes decent pictures.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE!!!
I received these on the 31st of December 2025. I am writing this review on the 9th of January 2026. These absolutely SUCK. They stopped recording video and taking pictures. They continue to make a noise as of they are recording or taking a photo but they do not show up in the app that you use for these glasses. And don’t let me get started on how terrible that app is. It’s informative enough but it is extremely slow and laggy. I was so excited when I got these and initially was pretty impressed with it’s features but now wished I would have just spent a little extra money on a pair of Meta glasses, The battery life on these is absolutely atrocious. I have never owned an electronic product with a worse battery life than these glasses. If they continued to work I could ignore the terrible app and bad battery life, but these glasses couldn’t even last me 2 weeks! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE!!!

Pros: Great video quality so far & fairly easy to set up.Cons: Came with a set of clear and sunglass lens. The lens were extremely hard to put in. It took about an hour per lens to fit it in the frames properly.

Lights always on when taking a video
The pictures and videos are okay I just don’t like whenever you record the light stays on and the light flash during a picture. & whoever is around can hear when you take a picture or video bc of the sound,There’s no way to turn it off in the app or the light . Ai mode is good and translation is good.

It doesn’t work.
I just received the glasses yesterday. As soon as I connect the charger to it, it said power on and I assumed it’s getting charged. It was being charged overnight and this morning when I tried to turn it on, it will not turn on no matter how I tried. I think they had sent me a used one. Because the box looked like it was opened and the Manuel was missing. I literally had to spend 30 minutes playing around with it to get it working and it wouldn’t. I never had a chance to use it to recommend it or not but for now I don’t recommend it.
