To be upfront – I have not yet and will not be able to install this for a little while yet as we battle the winter elements in my area. That said, I appreciate seeing the completeness of the kit. All the parts you need for installation are there. There is a comprehensive installation and instruction manual. The material quality feels good.We live in an area where we struggle to get a decent signal, despite being near a well-populated city. It’s frustrating and we have used other boosters in the past. This seems like a promising kit, based on other reviews, and I do believe that it will serve its purpose once I am able to install it. The instructions are *great*. They cover everything, including how you need to register the device with cell providers.If you live in an area with a weak signal, this may be the kit for you, assuming you have a little handy know-how or have a friend who can lend a hand.

Misleading Specs – Not What I Thought I Was Getting
The only reason I purchased this cell signal booster was for when I go up in the mountains and have a weak signal. If you read the listing, everything says that it has up to 8,000 ft of square coverage. It also says this works in remote areas. A search with the AI tool also confirms this. When you get the product though, the first thing it says on the outside of the box is 8,000 square ft if the cell signal is strong.This doesn’t exactly instill confidence for using this in remote areas, as the square footage decreases to between 600-1000 ft coverage (as seen in my photos). This is equivalent to around a 25-foot square box. With all of the components this requires to make it function properly, I don’t think it’s worth it for remote areas and I see why most people go with satellite phones instead.Anyway, the materials seem good and in the right application you may find this product working for you. I cannot vouch for it in that regard though. I may still test it in areas I like to car camp with weak-to-no signal, but I wouldn’t recommend it for that. I wish I had seen the coverage area information displayed on the listing as I would not have purchased this.

Très bon booster. J’ai suivis toute les étapes d’installation et ça m’a pris une bonne demi journée. On avaient soit une barre sur nos cellulaires ou aucune. Après installation nous avons la majorité du temps 2 barres constantes, parfois 1 et parfois 3. Nous pouvons maintenant parler sans problème et même avoir un accès, très lent, d’Internet.

I got this cell signal booster because I had hoped it would work better than my cheapo one. After setting it all up, I didn’t find any noticeable difference. However, there are a ton of factors that come into play.What I can say for certain though, is that the cables included in this kit are quite a bit thicker than my cheapo one and the connectors are larger.The external antenna is a larger flag-type one versus the smaller vertical one on my other system. I personally like the smaller vertical one better, assuming all things are equal. This flag-type one is an ugly, cheap plastic that looks terrible mounted. Especially if it’s in a place that stands out.The installation instructions are an odd mixture of very detailed for the things it mentions, but leaves a lot of information out. For example, how to mount the antenna using the provided hardware instead of just saying where to mount it.And much of it is poorly written, clearly English not being the primary language. It makes it hard to follow sometimes, resulting in reading multiple times to figure out what they meant.Everything you need is included, except for a mounting pole. I especially like that it comes with 2 indoor antennas and a splitter to separate them.Note that the indoor antennas can only be a maximum 45 feet from the booster and 30 feet from each other. In other words, from the booster, the cable is 15 feet long. You then attach the splitter and each indoor antenna has its own 30 foot cable from the splitter.And the cable from the outdoor antenna to the booster is also only 30 feet. So keep all of this in mind when planning to install it. You can’t feasibly put the antenna on one side of the house with the booster on the other (say in a utility room). It is likely to end up in a visible location. You also can’t hide it in a wall or ceiling because it needs to be plugged in. Unless you have the plug going into the wall or have the outlet hidden inside the wall, both of which are not safe or permitted by (most) code jurisdictions.However, this is a nice unit, if you need two indoor antennas. But beware of its limitations and assess whether or not you actually need two.
