Very solidly built case form-fit to the 6L EKG, but which also fits the new 6L Max which was very recently released. Case has one of the most resilient hinges I’ve seen on such a waterproof case. The latch is thick enough that it won’t be easily broken, and the rubbery inset that holds the device doubles as a very thick waterproof seal for the lid. I dunked it in a sink full of water for a half hour, and at the end of that time the inside was completely dry.The opaque lid obscures the device inside completely, which might cause someone at the TSA to open it to check contents – but the device fit is such that it won’t fall out even if shaken. You need to use one of the insets at the ends of the cutout to insert a fingertip to pull it out.I bounced this thing off a tile floor from 3 foot counter height repeatedly, resulting in no scuffs, scrapes, cracks or other damage. If you carry this ECG with you as you travel – as I do – this will provide great protection. You get a lot for the cost, and I highly recommend this for anyone with a 6L or 6L Max who doesn’t want to risk damaging their device in everyday life.
