How to connect the COMFORT 552H
Installing the Gigaset COMFORT 552 handset is very easy.
Simply register the handset to your existing base by pressing the paging button on the base for 3 seconds.Then press OK on the handset and you can start making calls. Up to 6 handsets can be used with your COMFORT 552 base.
Multiple handsets offer several advantages: Two possible calls at the same time – one internal and one external. Phonebook transfer between handsets. Internally, you can either call all handsets at once or just a specific one. For external calls you can set all handsets to ring simultaneously.

Handsome, Elevated and Refined Phone set for small businesses
This phone set is great for the store where I work, a locally owned mattress shop. I’ve noticed some negative reviews calling this phone “dumb” or expressing confusion over the menu. However, this is a German-made phone, which is more refined in style, and its menu is straightforward. If you prefer an American AT&T phone, that’s perfectly fine. But this phone is more like an Audi or Mercedes—it looks nicer, performs better, and has superior sound quality.The consultation mode, conference call feature, and built-in music on hold (MOH) may take some getting used to, but other phones lack these options altogether. With other devices, you need to install a separate MOH device to play hold music, while the Gigaset comfort phone set includes this feature right out of the box. That’s a brilliant design choice!The ringtones are also more appropriate for a business setting—much less jarring and annoying, which is important when you’re at your desk with a customer. Overall, this phone set works perfectly for small business environments and can be easily expanded. I even recommended it to a friend who owns a small business, and she loves her Gigaset too!

Great Phone
Tried 3 other phones before buying this one. This one is great. Volume, ease of use, sound quality, and looks great. I know there was some bad reviews but I decided to give it a try. love, love love it. I’m 75 and had no problem figuring it out. No clear cut directions but it’s really easy.

Would be an okay phone if I could receive voice messages.
Incoming calls are asked for a pin number. When someone calls they are asked their phone number and for a pin number. Google AI tries to help but no luck, manual does not help tried contacting Gigaset they never replied.

Excellent Phone
I purchased this Gigaset 552A to replace an older AT&T cordless phone set. The microphone was going and it was hard for callers to hear me. So sound quality reviews were a big reason I was attracted to the 552A. It is an excellent phone trio set. Fantastic sound quality which is clear for the callers and loud enough for the receivers. Easy to setup, the buttons are easy to read and well lit. The analog clock display option screen saver is a work of art. Well satisfied with this purchase.

Handsome but kind of dumb
I bought this to replace a fading Panasonic KX-PRW130W design phone (rest in peace) which had a similar display but did a better job of using it. The fonts on this model are less readable, particularly the one used for the digital clock display (which isn’t legible even a few feet away). This handset’s voice quality is a small step down but the overall build quality is a step up. I do like the solid feel of this phone and it is perfectly serviceable for the few times I use my landline.The answering machine can do some dumb things like allowing spam callers to record completely blank messages (the phone should just toss them). And common operations like deleting messages in bulk can be strangely complicated. I also miss talking caller ID more than I thought I would. I’m satisfied with this phone but if I had to do it all over again I would probably pick up a Panasonic with talking caller ID and just learn to live with the ugly display.

The product is not as advertised. Since we bought this item, it’s doesn’t work properly – where the outbound call is barred. I tried everything I could find online, including calling the service provider and still of no use, the problem still exists. Tried even reaching out to Gigaset through their website and could find a solution or a number / email to reach out to get this sorted. I wish I could return the item but then Househelp threw away the box or would have done that to at least get my money back.
