A Great Replacement for My Old Smart Glasses
I used to have the Soundcore Frames and really liked them, but the battery eventually died and they stopped making them. I’ve been trying to find something similar ever since, and these Giinova Smart Glasses are probably the closest match I’ve found, actually better in some ways.The lenses automatically darken in the sun, which is nice, and they offer UV protection too. The translation feature is surprisingly useful, especially if you travel or just want to play around with different languages. They charge quickly, connect to my phone easily when I put them on, and the controls are pretty straightforward.One thing I really appreciate is that you can have prescription lenses put in. Overall, I’m really happy with these. They’re not perfect, but they do a lot of things right and feel like a solid upgrade from what I had before.

Why are people giving it so many stars?I bought it for translation purposes, and I cannot recommend this product under any circumstance. It’s absolutely horrible. It does not do simultaneous translations as they make you think in the advertisement. Furthermore if the speaker takes a break, it starts translating but it takes a very long time, depending on the length of what was said. Then when the speaker starts talking again, it will not continue with the translation, it will start listening again until the speaker stops. The first part will be displayed on the phone, but it will not come through your built-in speakers on the eyeglasses. Therefore, you will be missing vital information. Very frustrating. In fact Google translation app will do a better job and do it faster. Also once I’ve uninstalled the app, the microphone function for several of my apps stopped working. I actually had to reboot my iPhone. Can you believe that. The app itself feels very non-intuitive, developed overseas and not properly build for the American market. The built-in speakers are nothing to write home about either. All in all a very poor product, very disappointed and I’m returning this product as fast as possible.

So many different functions to keep you busy
These glasses are the fun techy toy you didn’t know you needed. I feel very Mission Impossible when I wear them. I’ve been trying them out with different languages on YouTube and it is really cool to get the translation. I also like that there is a dialing mode for phone calls. They are easy to charge and last a long time, about 5ish hours. Plus they also look cool on men or women. If you are a student, you will love the note taking capability as they are voice activated. I also like that there is a shade function for when you are outside or in bright lights. Overall, super cool.

Nifty smart-ish glasses
The connection and sound is clear and not muffled or static-y.The glasses are a bit thicker than traditional eye glasses so if someone is looking hard they will see the difference BUT overall these are amazing for work. I can listen to music while working without worrying about earbuds falling out or cables running from my ears and getting in the way. It has a lot of information and there are so many things to learn with how it functions and what type of functions it has.Comfortable to wear while I’m working. This was kind of a “hmmm, these look cool” impulse purchase and I’m glad I gave in.
