Buyer beware
There’s nothing that I can say good about this phone – no, not even the price, because there’s utterly no value anyone would get out of this phone. SAVE YOUR MONEY1. First, it is NOT Pixel 8 Pro! (Not withstanding the clever jumble, the ‘About Phone’ still boldly says ‘Pixel 8 Pro’).2. The OS, though claims Android 13, behaves different; Also, the phone claims no OS updates available (though Android 16 is out recently; 15 is out for more than a year; 14 is out for more than 2 years).3. The listing claims ‘under screen fingerprint unlock’, but the phone doesn’t have that tech. The power button on the right doubles as the fingerprint scanner.4. The listing claims “1400*3120” resolution. Whatismyscreenresolution says it is “965×424” and the user experience feels exactly like that.5. Camera output (as well as the user experiene) is pathetic. The listing claims 108MP back and 48MP front camera. Though the back camera arrangement looks like a real Google Pixel 8 Pro, there’s only one active camera there and it’s resolution is 12.6MP (4096×3072). The front camera resolution is 8MP (3264×2448). Both the cameras are sort of okay in outdoor daylight, but miserable indoor, even during day time. (I have attached the photos are videos shot with this mobile)6. The listing claims 6800mAh battery, but at this point anything claimed in the listing should be taken with a ship-load of salt.
