Works well and is amusing.
Very loud near the light but not disturbing a 75′ or more away. I like the variety of sounds and it is rather amusing when we walk by to check out the function. Seems to be sensitive. We used this for our garden and had a game cam recording the scene. We used on the dark setting only and my how the intruders jumped. We had opossum, skunk, fox, coyote, porcupine, racoon and deer. All were unnerved by the lights and noise and cleared the area. The skunk the least so. Luckily he is not a garden pest that eats the veggies. I bought another kind of alarm but this was my favorite. I used some with the provided stake and mounted a couple on a post.

Extremely loud and bright. No volume button.
I got this to scare stray cats away. It is so loud! There is no volume button on it. I put it out for the first time and when it went off my neighbor’s dogs were barking and going crazy. I will keep it but only use it for Halloween to scare the trick or treaters. I am buying another brand with a volume button on it. This brand is nice if you live out in the country or if you have no neighbors near by or if you just don’t care what your neighbors think. I get along very well with my neighbors and I want to keep it that way. Again, this brand works very good and is worth the money I paid for it, but there is no volume button to turn it down.

Won’t work for my use case, but still seems like a decent product
Had to return, won’t work for me. However, I think it could work well in the right environment. The bright yellow color could help it be a visual deterrent. I set it off inside and it was obnoxiously loud and I think the chaotic sounds it makes would disorient a person or wild animal. So, if you live out in the country and want to run off pests and you don’t have close by neighbors I think it would be great for that. I’m suspicious about it’s quality for water resistance, but I think if it had a clear rain cover that would work. I didn’t install it, but it looked really easy to install and had more than one way to do that right out of the box. I wish it had a volume control or way to set the sounds to something specific. Where I intended to use it the dog bark would have been acceptable, but the blended chaos just wouldn’t fly in that mid to high density housing environment.

Really works!
I have had great success with these, and I just bought my second one. I got them to try and keep coyotes away from my house, and I’m not sure how well that worked since I could only see them on game cameras. But I moved the one I had closer to my house to try and keep the raccoons out of my carport…and they work! I can see them walking up, then the alarm sounds and they run off. The sound changes, so they don’t get used to just one alarm. No more raccoons in my carport!

Not flexible
This would be good for a farmer, but not for urban use. One, there is no volume control. It’s either off or REAL LOUD. Second, it’s either off or on for a very long time. I only needed 3-5 seconds to scare birds, and instead I get an hour of my neighbors being treated to gunshots and squealing pigs. So it didn’t work at all for me, and I wish they would make a few tweaks to be more flexible. So I wouldn’t say it’s a bad product, I just don’t think it is suitable for many people’s needs.

Works great!
Bought them for my chicken coop; they work better than I expected! I am happy with the purchase (my chickens are just as traumatized as the pesky critter [s] entering their perimeter, who then flee in a panic when the alarms activate!) Recommend!

Piece of trash
Not anything close to what they advertise. They say it is 130 db…. roughly the sound of a rock concert with 10s of thousands people in attendance.With it 5 foot from my bedroom window I could not hear it when it went off. The sounds or s I unrealistic it is pathetic. Sounds worse tan the sound track from a 1950s movie do not buy a complete waste of money

Great product
This is a great product. I have three of them out in my checking yard facing out so if anything approaches the fencing, it will go off course when my chickens get out it goes off.

Kind of wish they were less visibly (not bright yellow) but when you think that these are supposed to alert and scare people away it works great. My dog hates it, loud and bright. Has already scared away 2 cats, and some homeless / drunk who was trying to get through my backyard. Has worked great this spring / summer, will have to remove closer to winter. Works great.

Loud and the sounds change so the coons dont get use to the same noise. Dinos roaring gunshots, sirens etc. Lights flash. You can set to just at night or 24 hours
