Absolutely Brilliant – A Must-Have Smart Bulb!
I’ve tried a handful of smart bulbs over the years, but the Orein Aidot Matter Smart Bulb A21 is easily the best I’ve used. Setup was a breeze—thanks to Matter compatibility, it seamlessly connected with my Apple HomeKit without any hiccups. The AiDot app is also great and offers a smooth, modern layout.The brightness and color range are impressive. Whether I want a cool white light for working or a warm, cozy glow for movie night, this bulb delivers. The color options are vibrant, and transitions are smooth—no flickering or delay.Another huge plus: the responsiveness. Commands are nearly instant, and scheduling or automations through my smart home system work perfectly. I recently purchased the OREiN Matter Smart RGBTW Bulbs, and I’ve been impressed with their performance so far. The 1100 lumens provide plenty of brightness, equivalent to a 75W traditional bulb, making them perfect for well-lit rooms. I’ve connected them to Apple Home, Alexa, and Google Home without any issues. They respond quickly to voice commands, and the setup process was very easy using 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Great, especially for holiday lights
We typically use lights to for Christmas around the pillars in front of our house, but these are after the challenge to put up and the wires break. This is much simpler. Just download the app and you can set the times that you want the lights to come on and you can choose what colors for each individual light or they can sync together to make patterns.

Matter works perfectly, bright, but the colors aren’t exactly accurate.
These worked great with my Home Assistant installation. Unlike most other Matter based devices, I was able to bring them into Home Assistant without having to update firmware first or connecting them to my network using their app before hand to perform a firmware update (Don’t even get me started with some Govee devices!). They’re nice and bright as well. My only complaints I have is the colors aren’t quite as accurate as a set I have from TP-Link/Tapo, the lowest dim setting is still fairly bright, and they don’t support the “transition” command which tells a device brighten or dim over a period of time in a single command.

Good value- get the AI Dot app if using multiple home assistants
Very good value for the price. I love being able to change the colors whenever I want based on the mood or the holiday. One tip would be to download and use theAIDot app if you use multiple home assistance in your home like Google Home, Alexa, and Apple home. They’ll let you set it up once and show up in all of the various assistants. Otherwise, I can only get it to work with one at a time. It also lets you do light shows if you wanted to with that app. I also found it much easier to add multiple lightbulbs at once using that app. I can’t comment on longevity yet as I just installed them. I do wish there was more of the actual lightbulb exposed versus just the top half but that’s the way it is on a lot of these LED bulbs.

They’re actually bright enough to keep at 50% until you need a big boost… and they fade off slowly when you shut them off. Also perfect setup first try.

Can only pair to Apple HomeKit – No actual functionality
Despite what the A.I. Rufus says about the product info being able to dim, change the color, and color temperature from within Apple Home, you cannot..This is probably made by the exact same manufacturer of the LightingInside bulbs as they have the same ‘non-funtionality’ as this set. I couldn’t even turn off the bulb using that one function in the Home app. It would just display the light as ‘no response’.I was looking forward to using this bulb due it’s 1600 Lumen description (which it is bright), I’m disappointed that you can only turn it on/off within Apple Home. I will be returning these.2 stars for ease of pairing in Apple and brightness. I will be returning this.
