Why is the new SSD not showing up in Windows or macOS?
If your SSD isn’t detected, it’s likely because it hasn’t been formatted properly. Ensure both proper connection and formatting to make it usable.
Correct Connection
Ensure the SSD is properly connected, either internally or through a USB enclosure, and check that all cables and ports are functioning correctly.
Drive Initialization and Formatting
Windows: Open Disk Management, initialize the SSD, and format it to NTFS or exFAT (NTFS for system use, exFAT for cross-platform compatibility). Create a New Simple Volume after formatting.
macOS: Open Disk Utility, select the SSD, erase it, and format as APFS for macOS use or exFAT for both macOS and Windows compatibility.
Video Tutorial: A helpful video tutorial is available on the product page titled “Computer Not Recognize Drive? – Formatting New SSD Before Use”, which guides you through the entire process.
Once the SSD is properly connected and formatted, it should show up in File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (macOS).
3D-NAND Technology: The 2.5-inch SATA SSD utilizes advanced 3D NAND flash for enhanced reliability and endurance, delivering optimized performance for daily computing tasks
Ultra-fast speed: Sequential read and write performance levels of up to 500MB/s and 300MB/s(Based on internal testing; performance may vary depending upon drive capacity, host device, OS and application). Faster performance and more reliable than traditional hard drives
High-Performance: Solid state internal drive has the characteristics of shockproof and anti-drop, quiet and noiseless, low power consumption, high and low-temperature resistance, faster-booting speed, and program loading speed
Compatibility: Supports Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8 (32-bit & 64-bit), Vista (SP1 and above), XP (SP2 and above), macOS, and Linux. 【𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: A newly installed SSD needs to be properly formatted before use; otherwise, it may not be recognized or appear in the file explorer】
Long-Term Reliability: The SATA SSD is backed by 3 years of quality coverage, with ongoing technical support available to address all your needs

A Lot Of Drive For The Money!
So far so good. Of course, longevity will be the ultimate judge, and I can’t speak to that yet.I replaced an older desktop SATA drive that had died with this SSD. Since it is much smaller than the old style desktop HD it could not be secured in the drive bay without an adapter. I simply used a small piece of industrial strength Velcro to secure it to the bottom of the drive bay. I plugged the cables in and it was good to go.I loaded it with Win 7 Pro. I didn’t have to format the drive, although Win 7 may have done that as part of the install. I ran into a glitch during the install, but It wasn’t an issue caused by the drive. It appears this issue is not unusual with Win 7 Pro installs, and I was able to find an easy solution on YouTube.Yhe OS install is done, all is working well, and I’m very pleased with the drive. Programs open quickly and the system is stable. The light that used to blink when the old disc drive was reading or writing data no longer is blinking, but that may be because it’s an SSD and has no moving parts? Certainly nothing to worry about. And, being an SSD with no moving parts it is absolutely silent.Bottom line? This seems to be a good drive for the price of a similar capacity SD card, and I would not hesitate to buy it again.

Inexpensive server boot drives. Work well.
Excellent little drives for the price. I use them as boot drives for a set of Proxmox servers. Excellent choice for inexpensive server boot drives. They perform as expected for a SATA SSD. They are quick, run cool, and are standard 2.5″ sized to fit in any system which uses them.

A good value option to replace a spinning hard drive
I bought this 2.5 in solid state drive to rejuvenate an older laptop that was almost at its end of life with a failing spinning hard disk. Don’t have any misconceptions, this is a value solid state drive and not one that’s intended for the highest performance. Still, I’ve had very good experiences with it for a few months. I put this drive in and did a fresh install of Windows. Since then, it’s worked well for some basic web browsing and video chats, and it’s even helped Windows 10 not slow to a crawl even with only 4 GB of RAM. That’s all I wanted out of it. If you’re looking for a no-frills replacement for an older hard drive, this is a reasonable choice. I can’t speak to its long-term reliability, but it seems to be going just fine with use a couple of days a week over the past few months.

Brilliant product, as described on the package
Brilliant product, as described in the package. Only used it for a bit as I was gonna use it as a replacement internal storage for a broken computer. It was my first computer repair and, while I fixed it, it broke itself shortly after and now won’t turn on. Anyway, the speeds are good, as is everything else. Nice product, definitely recommend to someone in a budget

Excellent HDD replacement.
Great value and my go-to SSD for upgrading older PCs and Macs that just need a HDD replacement (and not a lot of space).
