Fast, Reliable, and Sleek—Exactly What I Needed!
I bought the SanDisk Ultra Flair 256GB USB 3.0 to handle large media files and backups, and it’s exceeded every expectation. The transfer speeds are blazing fast—moving gigabytes of data in seconds—and it’s been rock-solid reliable across multiple devices. I especially love the sleek metal design: it feels premium, fits easily on a keychain, and doesn’t overheat during heavy use.Whether you’re storing high-res photos, videos, or important documents, this drive delivers performance and peace of mind. No hiccups, no lag, just plug-and-play perfection. Highly recommend for anyone who needs serious storage in a compact, durable package.

Sleek Metal with a Burning Problem
The SanDisk is a stylish, metal-clad drive that feels far more premium than its budget price tag, offering a reassuring durability that plastic competitors simply lack. For everyday tasks like moving documents or grabbing a movie to watch on a TV, the read speeds are snappy and reliable, making it an excellent addition to any keychain thanks to its sturdy loop. However, that sleek metal casing acts as a heatsink, and it gets alarmingly hot during use—often becoming uncomfortable to handle if you’ve been transferring data for more than a few minutes. This thermal issue isn’t just a tactile annoyance; it directly impacts performance, causing write speeds to throttle and crawl during large file transfers as the drive struggles to cool down. It is a fantastic, nearly indestructible option for quick, light tasks, but if you plan on backing up massive folders, patience and a high heat tolerance are required.

Large, Legit, maybe not fast, but adequate. Still, Good purchase and recommended!
Thought the 512GB was a counterfeit. But have proven it’s not using simple tools that did write/read testing. For the most part, I got about 50-60MiB/s Write, and around 100-160MiB/s read, sequentially. Formatted (ExFAT/NTFS) it’s about 460GB which has provisioning for extra spare blocks to lengthen lifespan and speed. Overall. I give is a 4-stars. 5 for being what they said it is, 4 stars for the slightly slow write speed. This is because the drive is fresh, and this definitely isn’t NAND memory. Even TLC NAND is faster, but it may be adequate enough. For my wife, long-term photo storage is what I got it for, and it’ll fit. Not only isn’t small, but the relative storage size is huge, and cheap, and I can see this used for a lot of trading media or swapping out backups overtime cheaply. It’s likely many degrees higher able to survive fires in a fire lock box than a hard drive, and tiny enough to throw on a keychain for imaging with something like ventoy or a quick and dirty linux/windows boot disk. It seems to be of decent sandisk quality, and time will tell, but maybe for a single or dual-disk raspberry Pi server, or even a server intenal boot disk for diagnostics/headlsess server, this is likely a great use for that. it’s fast enough for a raspberri pi 4 and small enough to not be a nuisance. also great if you have a car that needs to offload dashcam footage like a tesla or some retrofitted car entertainment systems. It doesn’t generate too much heat, even after me running full tests, and can be used as a quick and small OS X bootable disk if you are at a university with a lot of storage space. They seemed to have design some reliability thinking with the spare blocks being reserved, meaning it should last a long time. It should be able to do most file systems, but for FAT32, you may need to create a partition for that, but you can do a lot of 32GB FAT32 partitions if you need to, and reserve the rest for Linux, MacOS or Windows-based filesystems for bootable and other data seperate. Could be used to make a kiosk in public too with right tools while being able to hide it, or pull it quick.

Great Product
nice little thumb drive, love the capacity just wish it has a cover to keep dirt and lint out of the end thus the four stars, otherwise works great, no issues hooking up with our computers, would buy another when needed. I am going to have to update my review to a 5 Star as I left it in my pocket, my wife washed it, and ran it through the dryer. Came out clean and works great.

Great Storage Media!
I only use Sandisk USB Ultra Flair drives, maybe a Cruz here and there. Never had any problems with them, rock solid. They do get fairly warm, being so small. Really warm. But it doesn’t seem to affect them at all, as I’ve have some going on 4 years now. Good storage at a good price.

The SanDisk Ultra Flair USB 3.0 64GB Flash Drive is hands down one of the best USB drives I have used for DJing. It is fast, reliable, and exactly what you want when managing music libraries and performing live. Load times are quick, transfers are smooth, and I never worry about lag or errors when plugging it into DJ gear. The metal casing feels solid and durable, which is important when the USB is constantly being plugged in, removed, and carried around in pockets or gear bags. The size is compact but not so small that it is easy to lose, which I really appreciate.Performance-wise, it handles large music files and playlists with no issues at all. Having up to 150MB/s speed makes organizing and updating tracks quick and stress-free. It has been rock solid in both home prep and live DJ situations.Five stars without hesitation. Fast, durable, and dependable. An excellent USB drive for DJs who need performance they can trust.
