More versatile than you think
Very cool Android TV box. Connected to the other input of my computer monitor instead of playing content from my PC, I just use my monitor as a TV. It operates quite smoothly, and quick. Easy to setup, and I appreciate the QR codes to login to most of the apps I wanted to use. But there were a couple where I didn’t want to type type with the remote, so I connected a keyboard. It’s nice having the app store available.

These boxes are known to get stuck in boot loop. There is not a fix for boot loop, you will have to buy another box. These boxes uses cheap firmware and that is what causes boot loop.

This did work. Was it 6k… Probably not. However it did have some key features, and seemed to work well as a full fledged android box.It was first off easy to setup, and it had some weight to it, so felt like there was actually something inside. Nice to also have two USB ports, and an Ethernet port. I appreciate having the hard-line. It looked durable enough to drop and not feel like the plastic would crack.I was able to quickly get it initially setup and watch a YouTube video. The video quality was fine, I was using a portable display, so no idea of it was 6k, but it seemed to keep up. The controls were good, and it seemed pretty responsive when switching from app to app.I like the clock on the front, and the subtle rbg look to the status light. Startup of the unit from off did take longer than I would like 30-45 seconds, but this is no powerhouse gaming PCI really liked that chrome was installed by default. As my main use would be simple browser page display it saved me a lot of side loading work.This is the best of what is out there at this price point. I would suggest it if you are trying to stay away from traditional streaming devices.
