Great sound, compact and can stream without using Bluetooth
I really like this smart speaker because it supports high-resolution 24-bit audio and delivers genuinely good sound along with some excellent features. The speaker uses Bluetooth 5.3, which already provides solid sound quality, but its most impressive feature is how it works with supported apps to stream audio directly from the internet to the device over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. In this mode, the phone is no longer sending audio over Bluetooth—it simply acts as a remote control. This is a big advantage: your phone is free for other tasks or Bluetooth devices, and the music doesn’t cut out if you leave the room or move out of Bluetooth range. That direct internet connection also seems to be the key to maintaining enough bandwidth for consistent high-resolution audio.Setup was easy by following the included instructions and walking through the process in the well-designed WiiM app. Once connected to the internet, you log into your streaming accounts one time, choose to save them, and then all of your high-resolution services (along with free options) are available in one place. The maximum audio resolution depends on the streaming service being used, but even standard-resolution content sounded very good to me.The speaker uses a single woofer and two tweeters. It does not provide true stereo on its own, but it can be paired with a second matching speaker for stereo playback. It also supports multi-room audio, making whole-house playback possible without running any wiring.Audio quality is very good overall. Music that is heavy on vocals or acoustic guitar sounds especially impressive, with clear detail and natural tone. I think the dual-tweeter design, along with the AI room-specific setup, really helps with clarity while keeping the bass well balanced without becoming boomy.Overall, this speaker combines high-resolution audio with smart, modern connectivity in a way that truly stands out. It’s been a perfect solution for my home office—music can play all day, even if I leave the room, and my phone stays free without being tied to a Bluetooth connection.

Great Features But Sound Quality Falls Short
The WiiM Sound Lite Smart Speaker comes loaded with cutting‑edge tech like Hi‑Res 24‑bit/192 kHz support, AI RoomFit room correction, Wi‑Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and multi‑room/stereo pairing, and I love how easy it is to set up and control with the app. The design looks sleek in black and the connectivity options are solid. However, the actual sound quality was a bit disappointing compared to what I expected at this price point. While it gets reasonably loud thanks to the 100W peak power, the bass lacks punch and the overall sound can feel thin and lacking in richness, especially when playing music with deeper low end. It is fine for casual listening or background music, and the smart features are convenient, but if you are after truly immersive, room‑filling audio that matches the specs on paper, this one did not quite hit the mark for me.

A Compact, High‑Quality Speaker Packed With Premium Features
This speaker hits a really nice sweet spot in size—compact enough to place just about anywhere, yet substantial enough to deliver impressive sound. The audio quality is genuinely strong, with punchy bass and a full graphical EQ that lets you dial in the sound exactly the way you like it. If you don’t feel like tweaking every frequency, there are plenty of presets that make it easy to experiment. The build quality stands out right away. It has a solid, weighty feel that gives it a premium impression, but it’s still light enough to move around when needed. This is my first WiiM product, though I’m familiar with ecosystems like HEOS and Sonos, and the multiroom potential here feels right in line with those experiences. One thing I do wish it offered is the ability to replace a Google speaker, but since it doesn’t respond to “OK Google,” that’s not an option. It does, however, include a microphone for room correction, which helps optimize the sound for your space.High‑res streaming works great with Amazon Music and other premium services, and the connectivity options are excellent—Ethernet for those who prefer a wired setup, plus an input for something like a phono player. The app is straightforward and had me up and running in minutes. You can stream directly through the WiiM app or cast from your preferred music service. If you’re looking for a compact speaker that delivers high‑quality sound without needing an external DAC, this one absolutely fits the bill. I’d definitely recommend it.

Amazing!
If your part of the audio/hifi community, your familiar with WiiM Dac/Streamers. I exclusively use the WiiM ultra when not spinning vinyl. Probably the best value in hifi today. I was fortunate to get my hands on a WiiM lite speaker. It in a high quality package. In the box you get the speaker, power cord, rca to 3.5mm cable and instructions. The WiiM app does everything. Extremely well put together app with easy interface. It also supports room correction and preset and fully adjustable eq.I hooked it up and paired with my WiFi and downloaded the updates. Note: WiiM keeps up on there updates and bug fixes. I opened the app and just ran the device without eq. Ran rim correction and tested with Tidal. I noticed right off the bat that this produces an awesome amount of bass for its size. The midrange is perfectly balanced and the highs are crisp but not too bright. I ran this for about 8 hours on wifi(it also has a Ethernet port) and played my playlist flawlessly without any connectivity running Hines audio. Beautiful sound. At 10ft away I was averaging 85db which is plenty pound for a small/medium sized room. Remarkable product as to be expected. For the money you can’t get a speaker that produces this kind of sound that takes up such little Realestate. Remarkable. A must have!

Sound Lite is my fourth Wiim product usually used to stream Spotify round the house so maybe some bias in this review. The other Wiims I have plug into various different bits of hifi with different sonic quality, dedicated amplifier, sound bar and portable Bluetooth speaker. Wiim is a great eco system to utilise what you already have and join your music together. We also push from a Pioneer DJ deck booth output in party mode, the Wiim kit is versatile.Back to the Sound Lite. I bought this for our kitchen, it is used to stream over WiFi and connected via Bluetooth when watching video formats played from an iPad such as BBC iPlayer, Netflix, etc. The unit is really minimalist, only a few buttons on top and has an assured quality feel to itself. It is a dense unit, you can feel the weight of the power supply, amplifiers and speaker magnet as you position it. The weight transfers into a good sound when you listen to it. As I already had the Wiim network configured, it took minutes to discover and firmware update before it was rapidly joined to the house group of other Wiim to join in any streaming. The Sound Lite stands on its own as a product and we use it as such, it fills the space of our kitchen well over the regular cooking activities. For its size and number of speakers and price point, I feel it is excellent value. You do not need lots of Wiim products to enjoy the Sound Lite but it it’s fun when you have!

I did a side-by-side comparison of the WiiM Sound Lite, Denon Home 150 and Sonos Era 100.Based on how they sound the WiiM is the clear winner in my opinion: it sounds more “real” as opposed to the trickery of Sonos and more “effortless” and less “muffled” than the Denon. The Sonos works fine for straightforward pop/rock/EDM music that would also sound well on the radio in your car. But it seems to do a lot of audio processing, boosting certain elements of the music to try to give some sort of wow effect but then neglects a lot of smaller details (that you can hear on the others) in the process. The WiiM seems to present the music more as-is, which works great for acoustic parts or vocals combined with multiple instruments playing at the same time. The Denon is a bit smaller device and has a smaller woofer and a single tweeter instead of two. The sound profile is more close to the WiiM but a bit less detailed and looses clarity when listening at a different angle. The WiiM also has a very extensive graphic and parametric equalizer (manual and presets) that you can use to change the sound exactly to your liking. Sonos and Denon just have a bass and treble plus/minus (and a horrific “loudness” setting on the Sonos) and that’s it.
